| We camp on the drive from Albion to Powell,
Wyoming. During our 10 nights in Powell, we
stay in dorms on the campus of Northwest College (photo on left above) and
eat in Northwest's cafeteria. The dorms have ample social and study
space, including a computer room. Powell itself is a great town with
a movie theater, stores including an office supply and a camping supply store, and several restaurants. |

| The next four nights are
spent in group campground sites in Yellowstone National Park, and in Grand
Teton National Park. On the left is a picture taken at one of Yellowstone's
many hydrothermal features, and on the right is the view of Jackson Lake
from Colter Bay in GTNP. |

| We next stay for five nights at the Mickelson
Field Station, run by Northwest College. This facility includes a
lodge with a cafeteria and meeting rooms, three sleeping cabins (one is
shown in the picture on the left above), and a shower house
Recreation includes games of horseshoes, sunrise and sunset trail rides,
and evening bonfires. After this, we camp for one night in a
group campground in the Big Horn Mountains. |

| We camp for four nights at Bear Butte State
Park near Sturgis, South Dakota. Can you see the Bear in the photo
on the left above? The campground (shown on the right above) is on the prairie, in sight of our map
area on the western flank of the Butte.

Finally, we spend seven nights camping in Custer State
Park, in a campground on Stockade Lake (photo on left above). A pavilion equipped with lights and electricity makes it easy
to download down GPS data and prepare maps (photo on right above).
On the drive home, we camp for one night, and usually arrive in Albion by
late afternoon on the next day.
