• The Senior Colloquium is the final course requirement for students of the Gerald R. Ford Institute for Leadership in Public Policy and Service.  It is designed to provide a forum where students can discuss current public policy, service, and leadership issues with their fellow students, Ford Staff, and other community leaders.  The class culminates in a presentation and discussion of a current topic with the Ford Institute Visiting Committee.  Success in this course assumes that students are able to research, synthesize, and clearly articulate their positions on issues that face our country every day.  It also provides the first opportunity since PBSV 101 for Ford Institute students to get together as a class and engage in substantive discussions about these issues while demonstrating what they have learned and experienced over the preceding semesters.
