WELCOME TO THE FIRST VOLUME OF THE WEB(MAGA)ZINE  M f G !
 DESIGNED BY
GERMAN 301 STUDENTS AT ALBION COLLEGE,
ALBION MICHIGAN.

MfG stands for "mit freundlichen Grüßen" = with friendly Greetings, a common German expression used at the end of letters (similar to "sincerely yours").

It also is a reference to a well-known song by the German hiphop group Die fantastischen Vier, that is made up entirely of acronyms. The Albion College German 301 students decided this would be good name for their magazine.

The students chose their own article/column topics, which range from descriptions of cultural, athletic and musical activities going on at Albion to an article about dorm-room styles, health tips for students, a horoscope column, and an interview with a musically inclined Albion senior.  There is also an article about Berlin, written by our Native Speaker Teaching Assistant, Julia Kruse and an interview the students conducted with her.

Our hope is that soon other students, from Albion and beyond will contribute to MfG.

Please send ideas for articles, letters, comments, and questions to cgrimm@albion.edu.

Many thanks to Zulema Moret for her inspiration and Robin Miller (IT) for her help and expertise.

Happy Reading!

Viel Spaß beim Lesen!
